the tartan room @ the parsons loft in forfar exceeded my expectations. the property was clean, high quality, and beautifully decorated with period fittings. janice, the host, was extremely nice and accommodating. the breakfast provided was amazing, with a wide variety of goodies. overall, i had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

I recently stayed at The Tartan Room and had a wonderful experience. The room was beautifully furnished and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I was impressed by the personal touches provided, such as biscuits, sweets, and even personal items. The breakfast hamper with a variety of food options was a great perk, especially having a microwave to cook a ready meal at night. The small bottle of wine in the fridge was a lovely touch. The room had a nice view and a table, which was perfect for eating and working. The wifi was excellent, allowing me to even have a video conference in the room. The location was great too, quiet and with superb facilities. You can tell that the owner is a professional interior designer, with small details that made the room and bathroom really special.

The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, ensuring a stress-free start to our city trip. The property itself was impeccably clean and maintained to a high standard, with period fittings that added a touch of charm. The hosts had thoughtfully provided everything we could possibly need, from a super comfy bed that ensured a great night's sleep to a well-stocked fridge and cupboards filled with delicious treats. the breakfast hamper offered a delightful assortment of goodies to start the day off right.

The location, which required navigating a very narrow street that proved challenging, especially for larger vehicles. the non-en suite bathroom arrangement felt a bit uncomfortable, as it required heading down the hall to use the facilities which felt like intruding on the host's personal space.

We had a lovely welcome from Janice who took the time to explain everything to us. The room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. We particularly enjoyed the continental breakfast that was left in our room, and the use of the kitchenette next to our bedroom was convenient. The bathroom was spacious and clean. we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at The Tartan Room @ The Parsons Loft.

While everything was good, we did encounter a minor difficulty with the mobility access in the bathroom. However, this did not take away from the overall cleanliness and spaciousness of the bathroom.
